How much I smoked.

My smoking habit spanned 40 years. That's 14,600 days. During that period I smoked over 350,000 cigarettes and spent over a hundred thousand dollars doing it. If you were to ask me the one thing that I have done most in my life other than breathe, it would have to be that I lit and then smoked a cigarette. That's kind of sad don't you think?
Yet on June 6th, 2000 I quit. I did not want a cigarette and I did not want to smoke. That was the difference. After that day, the desire was gone. It was over.
Sure I had a few urges but even when I had them, I did not want to give in to them. I did not want to smoke.
That's where you need to get to in order to succeed.  You need to get beyond stopping smoking, where you still want a cigarette, to quitting smoking where you do not want a cigarette. Ever again.
This is what my book will do for you.
The books I have read will tell you what to do but they will not show you how to do it.
My book will show you how to quit.
Do what I did and you will not fail.
